Olympism - Torch of the 1972 Munich Olympic Games, made of stainless steel, consisting of three parts: a handle engraved with the Olympic rings and "München 1972/Spiele der XX. Olympiad", underneath, a stopper signed Krupp on the outside and Hagry on the inside; a guard engraved with the logo of the games showing a spiral symbolizing a Munich radiating with the spirit of the games "light, freshness, generosity"; a long stove. Length: 72 cm Width: 21 cm The torch relay set out from Olympia through Greece and, in the hands of nearly 6,000 torchbearers, covered more than 5,500 km in 30 days, crossing Turkey, Bulgaria, Romania, Yugoslavia, Hungary and Austria before arriving in Munich.
