Order of Saint Louis - Restoration, Knight's Cross in gold and enamel (hair, a chip on the obverse of the inscription), unknurled tips, Amati-style branch reserves, two-part centers, leaf-shaped bail, fluted ring, rooster-head hallmark, period ribbon. 41 x 40 mm, gross weight: 12.72 g France, 1814–1819. Very Fine Provenance: Admiral Louis Jacob (1768–1854), Knight of the Order on July 29, 1814, Commander in October 1828.
