A beautiful, sturdy, ornate sword with a three-pronged hilt. The tang is entirely filigree-worked iron, featuring a spiral relief decoration. The hilt has three prongs, with double rings on the guard and counterguard, both featuring fluted decoration. The pommel is truncated conical with faceted sides. The blade has a central fuller extending one-quarter of its length. Length: 114.5 cm. BE. Late 19th century.
