German artillery officer's saber.
Handle covered in shagreen, with watermark. Brass fittings, single-bar guard in the Blücher style, lion’s head pommel with glass eyes, single-bar guard decorated with oak branches and half-lobe ears with crossed cannons. Curved blade with hollow edges, hallmarked at the heel. Scabbard made of black-patinated sheet iron with a single strap.
Length: 95 cm.
