German flintlock saber.
Bronze hilt with 29 grooves, single-bar guard. Flat-backed blade stamped "WKC." Varnished leather scabbard with three brass fittings and two rings.
Length: 82.5 cm.
A.B.E. Late 19th century.
Included are two sabers without scabbards, one of which is an An XI model, with a blade stamped and engraved on the back with "Mfture Imple du Klingenthal Octobre 1812." Oxidation.
