Light cavalry officer's saber, chasseur style. Leather-wrapped hilt with double copper filigree. Brass mountings decorated with line engraving, three-pronged crossguard, and two shuttle-shaped lugs. Curved Solingen blade with a flat back, hollow edges, and a counter-edged edge, engraved, gilded, and blued one-third of the way up. Length: 98 cm. A.B.E. SF. Circa 1810–1820.
