(May have been enhanced later). 27.5 x 20 cm Provenance : - Probably Galerie Druet, Paris, no. 9064. - Sale Paris, Hôtel Drouot, March 28, 2013. A certificate from Yves Rouart dated September 6, 2021 will be given to the buyer. Our drawing is probably a study for Faneuse, 1891, oil on canvas, 61 x 50 cm described and reproduced in Berthe Morisot 1841-1895, catalog raisonné de l'œuvre peint, by Alain Clairet, Delphine Montalant and Yves Rouart, Collection Le Catalogue, Céra éditions, 1997, page 251 under n°276. The catalog raisonné states: "This work was executed during the summer at Mézy after a young model named Gabrielle Dufour. There are three preparatory drawings for this painting".
