Portugal - Order of Christ, founded in 1319, grand-cross plaque model 1789 in embroidery, the glories applied with silver sequins bordered with silver cannetille forming a loop to fasten the points, the center embroidered in several parts, the cross of Christ in red-lacquered silver and silver sequins, edged with gold sequins, on a background of silver sequins, framed in gold cannetille, surmounted by the Sacred Heart in red-lacquered silver, sequin and gold cannetille, lined with strong paper. 99x88mm Portugal, late 18th, early 19th century.
