Old Mosul Ferahan, Iran, circa 1930/1940 Wool velvet on cotton foundation. Bluish-gray field decorated with a mosaic of geometrically stylized flowers and foliage in rows and polychrome. Seven borders, the main one brick-red with multicolored geometric floral bulbs. (Small accident at the end, slightly chipped). Height: 255 cm - Width: 160 cm
