A graduate of the Beaux-Arts de Nantes and the Université Paris 8 in photography, Lorraine Turci places the human being at the heart of her work. She creates sensitive narratives that highlight the complexity of reality, tackling themes such as societal issues, environmental protection and human rights. She also collaborates with the press, institutions and NGOs such as Greenpeace and Amnesty International. Lorraine Turci was awarded the "Grande commande photographique" by the French Ministry of Culture, under the auspices of the Bibliothèque Nationale de France. Her work has been exhibited at the BNF in the "La France sous leurs yeux" exhibition (2024), at the Fisheye Gallery for the IWPA prize (2024), and at various international festivals, including the Head On Photo Festival in Sydney (2024) and the Belfast Photo Festival (2023).
In 2025, she will present her project on the indigenous Ainu people, "La résilience du corbeau", at the Maison de la Culture du Japon in Paris.
