TWO TAPESTRIES from the "Grotesques à fond tabac d'Espagne" hanging, depicting tamers under a leafy canopy in polychrome wool and silk, after Jean Bérain and Jean Baptiste Monnoyer. Manufacture royale de Beauvais, workshop of Philippe Béhagle, early 18th century. Painted frames in simulated marble. These two elements, part of a larger composition, were separated by Béhagle himself in order to offer less expensive pieces. Height: 104 cm - Width: 115 cm
