Paris (?)], circa 1540 (?). Small in-8, 10 x 14 cm, 6 ff. (of 8), LXIII ff. (of LXXII), soft contemporary ivory vellum binding.
Gothic printing. Missing title, second leaf and text leaves I, VIII, XXV, XXXII, XLIV, LVII, LXIV, LXV and LXXII.

In-8, 11 x 17.5 cm, 8 ff. 378 pp. 1 f. 6 (of 7) folded plates, soft contemporary ivory vellum binding.
Scientific essays by a doctor from Lyon. Illustrated with geometrical woodcuts on 6 plates and in the text. Copper-engraved plate missing, and paper missing from the margin of plate 2, with damage to the illustration. Mottling, corners dog-eared. Small crack to one spine.

(of 8), 206 pp. 3 ff. in contemporary tan basane binding, spine ribbed and decorated with gilt motifs.
First edition of this treatise on practical medicine, which studies the influence of atmospheric phenomena (seasons, winds, bad weather) on the human body.
Gerbezius (1658-1719) was a renowned physicist and scientist from Ljubljana. Missing engraved portrait of the author. Browned leaves. One quire inverted. Binding slightly rubbed, corners dulled.
