Pair of mahogany armchairs with openwork sheaf-shaped backs adorned with a star. Horseshoe belts. Armrests in crosses, armrest supports in balusters. Tapered and fluted legs. Elegant belts. An armchair stamped G Jacob. Old handwritten label in the belt: "Salle à manger de Monsieur et Madame". Consulate period. (Small repair). Height : 94 cm - Width : 55 cm - Depth : 55 cm Georges Jacob, master in 1765. The Château de Fontainebleau holds a chair with the same decoration, stamped Jacob Frères (F 7589).
