NICOLAS ORILLARD-DEMAIRE WARRIORS, KENYA Signed, numbered 2/10 Fine Art print on Canson Infinity Edition Eching Rag paper American walnut box frame Atelier Fotodart 110 X 66 cm Gift of the artist Nicolas Orillard-Demaire has been a nature photographer for a dozen years. His work has won numerous awards, and he is renowned for his unique, dreamlike atmospheres. "For years I've traveled the world, from the streams of my childhood in the Ardèche to the primary forests of New Zealand. Europe, the Americas and Oceania have been my favorite targets in my artistic research into landscapes. The soft, peculiar northern lights opened my eyes to the fragility of environments." Then he discovered Africa. In areas still untouched by man, everything is in harmony: plants, rivers, predators and their prey. A single rule: the balance of life.
