MASSON (Frédéric). The Empress Marie-Louise. Paris, Goupil, [1901] 1902. In-4, publisher's binding, signed Durvand, in long-grained green morocco, large gilt decoration and arms of the Empress in the center, on the boards, smooth spine entirely decorated with gilt motifs, double gilt fillet on the edges, gilt inner lace, gilt edges, covers, folder and spine.
Unique edition, extensively illustrated.
A fine copy on Rives (no. 174) in the publisher's superb binding decorated with a large plate by J. Fau. Numerous spots. Spine and first cover darkened.
