1914, Military medal, silver, gilt and enamel, hinged uniface trophy, hallmark of the Monnaie de Paris, ribbon, case, 51 x 27 mm, with the announcement letter of the Ministry of War "MEDAILLE MILITAIRE - Monsieur le Général de Division Joffre (Joseph, Jacques, Césaire), Commander-in-Chief of the Army of the East, is informed that by Ministerial decree of December 2, 1914, rendered in application of the Decree of August 13, 1914, the Military Medal has been granted to him as of November 26, 1914.
