GRATIAN (367-383). Solidus. Trier (370). 4,48 g. His helmeted and cuirassed bust on the left, seen from behind, holding a haste and a shield. R/ Valentinian and Gratian, nimbed, seated frontally, each holding a globe and a book. C. 62. R.I.C. 18th. Provenance: - Henry Chapman, Piladelphia (USA), G. H. Small scratch under the chin. Very nice consular representation on the reverse. Rare. Almost Superb.
