CONSTANCE II (324-361). Solidus. Nicomedia. 4,37 g. His bust diademed, cuirassed and armed, front. R/ Rome seated frontally and Constantinople turning left, resting her foot on a bow. Both holding a shield and a scepter. C. 112. R.I.C. 74. Dep. II 5-2. Provenance: Triton - CNG, Freeman & Sear, NAC, New York, November 30, 1999, #1213. Small crack on the reverse. Surprisingly expressive face. Splendid.
