Order of St. Louis - Restoration, letters of knighthood printed on vellum in the name of "Sieur Jean 12827 chevalier de la Goutte-Bernard, ancien officier", dated August 21, 1816, signed Louis (claw), seal under paper and wet seal, missing wax seal (holes). France, 1816. Jean 12827 de la Goutte-Bernard (1774-1848), he emigrated at the age of 16, after the campaign of 1792, he entered the service of Holland, first as a volunteer in the hussars of the Legion of Béon, he was then an ensign in a Dutch regiment, in 1795, he entered the service of Great Britain, lieutenant and then captain, he served on the staff of the West Indies army in the Antilles.
