Lunch tray called "in an oil pan" (or "boat"), polychrome decoration of flowers in reserves surrounded by intertwined undulating green ribbons. Gold wolf nets and teeth on the edges. Brand of intertwined LL. 18th century, circa 1760. Decorator Fontaine. Length: 27.5 cm Source: Maison Allain. The decoration of this tray could correspond to the "Green Ribbons" service delivered on March 29, 1760 to the Marquis de Paulmy, which included 48 oil carriers, or to the service delivered to Madame Lair the same year with 4 oil carriers (see D. Peters, II, 60-1 and 60-2, pp. 325-328). These two services had similarities in decor.
