Chaire (pot à thé) de forme daikai, en grés brun-rouge, couvert d'un émail brun noir, orné de larges et épaisses taches fauves. Marque du potier Kimura Choemon incisée. (Petites restaurations à la laque d'or). A BIZEN CHAIRE [TEA CONTAINER] Attibuted to KIMURA CHOEMON(? - 1712) EDO PERIOD, 17th-18th CENTURY Of compressed squat form with broad shoulder and rounded neck rim, the dark reddish brown body with olive and brown glazes dripped and falling to the foot, incised potter's mark to the base, turned ivory cover with gold paper.
