Pierre Albert LEROUX (1890-1959) Important lot of documentation and drawings by the military painter: - Notebook of 61 pages, illustrated by the artist, on the line infantry of the First Empire, with ink drawings, some on tracing, with details of uniforms, shakos and certain pieces of equipment. - Notebook of 15 pages illustrated by the artist on staff guides (taken from Bucquoy maps). - 77-page notebook on First Empire horse chasseurs, mostly on tracing, with numerous uniformological details. - 90-page notebook with handwritten descriptions of First Empire uniforms. Enclosed is a pen-and-ink drawing by Eugène COURBOIN (1851-1925) depicting King Henri III and his Court (23 x 32 cm).
