JAPAN - Showa period (1926-1989) Miniature shibuichi taiko with repoussé decoration of three tomo-e and phoenixes facing each other around three tama and resting on a black and gold lacquer quadripod base. On the reverse, inscribed with the date "fourth day of the twelfth month of Showa 3 (1928)", in commemoration of the fleet review, city of Yokohama. Height: 10.9 cm Included: - A pair of small bronze and cloisonné enamel baluster vases decorated with medallions on a background of flowers and scrolls. (dents, restorations). Height: 9.3 cm - Two small boxes, one round, the other oval, in copper and cloisonné enamel, decorated with butterflies and flowers and a dragon in the clouds. Oval box length: 7 cm Round box diameter: 8 cm
