Our drawing is probably a study for Faneuse, 1891, oil on canvas, 61 x 50 cm described and reproduced in Berthe Morisot 1841-1895, catalog raisonné de l'œuvre peint, by Alain Clairet, Delphine Montalant and Yves Rouart, Collection Le Catalogue, Céra éditions, 1997, page 251 under n°276. The catalog raisonné states: "This work was executed during the summer at Mézy after a young model named Gabrielle Dufour. There are three preparatory drawings for this painting".
