Below him, a pair of man's legs can be seen, followed to the right by a man's head, which appears to be watching the scene. In the right foreground, a woman has rested her shamisen, a three-stringed guitar, on her lap. She hands a saucer to a man standing to her right. In front of them, a table is set for a meal. Below these figures, a woman with a bun held in place by barrettes holds her kimono collar in her right hand, spreading it across the floor. To her right, a young boy walks on his knees. A woman and a bird are reproduced in reverse on this drawing. This one appears to be a geisha. The bow of her obi is closed at the front.
