Crouching monkey
A monkey wearing brown clothing appears to be seated. His eyes are the same color as the fabric covering him. Behind him are two pine branches, a sign of longevity.

Stern of a moored boat
An oblong cartouche at the stern of an anchored boat bears the inscription of its name: Sumiyoshi maru. Below, the hull is decorated with langoustines and ferns for the New Year. On the left side of the print are haiku poems.
Date: 1867 (year of the rabbit).
