Kyo, Rakuchû Ôrai Kyo
The subtitle reads: comings and goings in the capital. A woman carries a ladder, two boxes and two jugs on her head, as is the custom among Kyoto workers. Behind her, we see a vendor of chasen (small bamboo beater for powdered tea), and three women in kinukazuki (special kimono to wear over the head, like a hooded pilgrim coat).
Seal: Heian (former name of Kyoto).
